Royal Copenhagen Golf Club is the oldest course in Scandinavia and has long been regarded as one of the
premier courses in Europe. It is not hard to see why.
Set in the Royal Deer Park, it is
one of the great places to play with a wonderful feeling of space and grandeur.
Mackenzie & Ebert have been retained to advise on how to refresh the course so that its challenges keeps up with today’s game. A three year renovation plan is to be undertaken. It covers all bunkers and tees as well as the reshaping of some green surrounds.
The exact provenance of the course is unknown as all club records were lost in a fire, but it seems fairly certain that one of the great British architects of the 1920s was involved.
